Overall objective
This role focuses on ensuring data integrity, continuity, and optimization during these
transitions. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills to extract,
analyze, and interpret data to guide decision-making and ensure smooth transitions.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards to support transition initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used for decision-making.
- Data Migration & Integration:
- Coordinate and manage data migration activities to ensure seamless transitions.
- Validate and reconcile data pre- and post-migration to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate data from diverse sources.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements during transitions.
- Provide data-driven insights to support business strategies and goals.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement data quality and governance standards.
- Continuously monitor and refine data processes to enhance reliability and accuracy.
- Technical Support:
- Support the implementation and adoption of new systems and technologies.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical assistance as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures.
Experience
- 0- 2 years of experience in data analysis, data migration, or a related field.
- Experience in managing data in a transition set up or in a business environment is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and database management.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
