JOB SCOPE:
Weatherford is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Global Fixed Asset, Inventory and Lease Accounting team in Houston, Texas.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare and present monthly materials to Finance Management with clear and focused messaging both verbally and via presentations.
- Highlight significant transactions for the period
- Ability to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner
- Handle any follow up questions or requested additional analysis
- Responsible for monthly analysis and ad hoc reviews of global PPE data including:
- Asset Rollforward Preparation and Analysis
- Monthly reviews of Fixed Assets Overall (Dep. Exp M/M, Balance Sheet Flux, Product Line Flux, CAPEX)
- Monitor any Assets Held for Sale and/or unique transactions
- Intercompany Markup Elimination Preparation and Analysis
- Prepare and Review Asset Sales reports for cash flow reporting with SEC Reporting group
- Review of Aged Construction in Progress and Unposted Entries in Fixed Asset clearing account
- Work with Legal and Tax department on lending and statutory reporting requirements
- Support in the accounting and analysis for Leases:
- Administrator of VisualLease system
- AFE Approval for all Leasehold Improvements
- Lease Reconciliation and Rollforward Preparation, Analysis and Reporting
- Preparation of monthly lease accounting journal entries
- Tracking, monitoring, and following up on open Authorization to Lease (ATL) requests
- Identify and recommend process improvements and simplification.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years Accounting Experience

- Knowledge of GAAP
- Comfortable working with all levels of management
- Ability to understand complex scenarios
PREFFERED
- PowerBI, Advanced Excel
- JDE, Hyperion (HFM, Smartview, Essbase)
- Familiarity with multi-currency, international environment
- Familiarity with multiple ledger entities
