The ICONIQ Operations team consists of four different divisions – Data Operations, Fund Operations, Trade Operations and Client Operations. These teams work independently as well as together and are dedicated to increasing the efficiency of interactions with external service providers, providing timely and accurate reporting to our client teams, ensuring a streamlined and consistent experience, all while creating a proper control environment that protects ICONIQ and its employees.

Client Operations:
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with internal teams to handle various client processes, including:
- Perform capital operations, bill pay, and general money movement.
- Coordinate subscription documents for private investments of both third party and proprietary funds.
- Execute and manage the client on-boarding process, account openings and transfers.
- Carry out the execution of ongoing payments for personal properties.
- Partner with custodians and service providers to manage and enhance the client experience.
Data Operations
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to initiatives regarding the centralization of Family Offices processes.
- Manage creation of assets and investments in Portfolio Management System.
- Review Portfolio Management System for accuracy and completeness with respect to valuations, commitments, capital calls, distributions, etc. Resolve any reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the investment team to produce quarterly fund reporting. Ensure that the reports are accurate, timely, and consistent with the firm's standards and guidelines.
- Strong Excel knowledge (construction of pivot tables, and use of VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and similar formulas). Experience using SQL, Snowflake or an equivalent data warehouse is a plus along with Tableau.
Fund Operations – Client Services
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the operational aspects of the LP/investor lifecycle across ICONIQ’s funds and investment vehicles.
- Respond to daily investor inquiries and requests through email and phone. Prepare internal and external reports to analyze investor base, asset flows, etc.
- Oversee and facilitate investors’ transfers across all ICONIQ funds.
Fund Operations
What You’ll Do:
- Managing and facilitating the investment process through completion of subscription document and investment funding alongside our Investment Strategy Group.
- Liquidity management which includes daily cash reconciliations, monitoring investors cash flows, and managing various lines of credit via loan drawdowns and paydowns.
- Entity management for all ICONIQ entities, generating EINs, tax forms creation and maintenance, and bank account openings and closures.
- Oversee ICONIQ’s internal inbox which includes managing clients’ investments emails and bulk cashiering process.
- Managing the closing process for our Investment Management products, which includes maintaining, updating, and reconciling allocations and redemptions in our CRM system as well as working closely with our fund administrator.
Trade Operations
What You’ll Do:
- Support ICONIQ’s internal and external trading teams and accounting groups by ensuring that all trades are accounted for and settled correctly.
- Actively monitor daily trade orders and execution while maintaining limit order review process.
- Assist in reconciling trading positions and settlement breaks with executing counterparties and custodians/prime brokers.
- Collaborate with data and technology teams in building automation to streamline reporting, reconciliation, and order management.
- Partner with investment teams to submit trades. Provide timely market analysis and execution reporting.
- Maintain relationships with both traditional and crypto custodians to continuously identify improvements, collaborate on new initiatives, and resolve ad-hoc issues.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- Detail-oriented, organized, results driven and solution-oriented.
- 2+ years of Accounting or Operations experience within Hedge Fund, Private Equity/Venture Capital firm or Fund Administrator.
- Experience with Addepar or other Portfolio Management Accounting System and Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees across multiple offices and time zones, as well as independently, to exceed clients’ expectations.
- Strong Excel knowledge (construction of pivot tables, and use of VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and similar formulas).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to learn quickly and execute efficiently.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $90,000 - $145,000 together with the benefits listed above.
