Analyst-Associate, Family Office Advisory

As a Family Office Advisory team member based in San Francisco, you'll play a crucial role in managing relationships with ultra-high net worth clients within ICONIQ’s Investment Management division. Your responsibilities include supporting Relationship Managers and Family Office Specialists, serving as a point of contact for client needs, understanding client expectations, executing client service strategies, and building trust with key client intermediaries. You'll also facilitate communication between clients and their advisors, manage bill payments, financial account maintenance and lifestyle services, ensuring seamless and personalized service tailored to each client's unique requirements. This role sits within ICONIQ Investment Management which strives to deliver exceptional investment portfolios by harnessing the differentiated capital and strategic strength of the ICONIQ community.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage operations for client relationships and/or support Family Office Specialists, Relationship Managers on large family office client relationships and/or manage operations for smaller relationships.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day client service needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients’ expectations and preferences to serve as a knowledgeable client advocate and ensure tailored execution.
  • Execute client service strategy, track client team goals, and monitor trends that will impact future client needs.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key client intermediaries such as estate managers, chiefs of staff, and executive assistants.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and their advisors in executing wealth transfer strategies, asset protection, philanthropic initiatives, and other complex issues.
  • Execute investment operations, bill pay and lifestyle services for assigned clients with a focus on high-touch, seamless service.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience. (Family office, wealth management, or other experience working with high-net-worth families is preferred).
  • Preference for basic trust and estate and/or personal tax experience, and ability to present key concepts to clients.
  • Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape and Salesforce a plus.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy. 

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $90,000 - $160,000 together with the benefits listed above.
