The Hiring Manager must also notify the employee’s current Supervisor prior to extending an interview. Management reserves the right to waive the one year waiting period if the transfer is determined to be in the best interest of the company. Lateral transfers are not encouraged, but will be considered by Management if the transfer is determined to be in the best interest of the company. Employees can apply by completing an electronic employment application and should follow the same application process as external applicants. Up to 4 weeks may be allowed before a transfer takes place in order to avoid undue hardship on the department an employee is leaving.
