About the role

Here at Tide, we are looking for a driven Alert Review Analyst with a good understanding of the concept of Fraud. As an Ongoing Monitoring Analyst, you are the first line of defence in our battle against combating fraud. We tackle all types of fraud within our Ongoing Monitoring L1 team, so you will be able to detect and prevent them.

You’ll be responsible for the monitoring of alerts across our customer base, ensuring we put our genuine members first, whilst spotting and investigating potentially suspicious activity. This role is a key element of our ongoing monitoring team, so we’re looking for someone who is a passionate investigator, who will help reduce risk to tide, and let our members get back to doing what they love.

As an Ongoing Monitoring (L1) analyst you’ll be: 

  • Analysing alerts across a variety of payment types and products.
  • Confident in calling out potential efficiencies in our tools and processes used for transaction analysis 
  • Be confident in using a variety of tools to undertake different types of investigations
  • Managing your own case load to meet performance targets
  • Consistently reaching the targets for Productivity and Quality 
  • Participate in internal and external training programs related to fraud offences detection and prevention and other subjects that may form part of the day-to-day work requirements.
  • Treating Tide members fairly by taking responsibility to ensure that their needs are met

What we are looking for: 

  • You have a minimum of 6 months in handling alerts in a fast paced environment.
  • You are a quick learner, explorer, multitasker and are happy to be in the defined shift (UK Business hours) 
  • You have a good eye for detail and are able to identify suspicious activity.
  • You are able to work well as part of a team; decisive; goal-oriented; proactive
  • You have a genuinely curious mindset, asking the right questions at the right times, with a problem solving attitude.
  • You have exceptional communication skills – written and verbal – and are able to communicate with our members, internal stakeholders & regulatory bodies if required
