Your future position

We are seeking a proactive and motivated AIS Network Development Manager to join our AIS Network team. This exciting role is responsible for the expansion of the vibrant Kpler Community of AIS Station Owners, counting thousands of members around the world, capturing AIS messages globally.

You will have end-to-end ownership of related processes, from acquisition to screening and evaluation of new applications, to managing the installation logistics. Handling both leads generated from various activities/expansion campaigns, plus implementing and experimenting on ways to actively attract new applications.

In this team, your mission is to:

  • Prioritise the expansion of the AIS Station Owner community, finding new AIS Station Owners - Initiating and implementing outbound campaigns for network growth and involvement through the whole lifecycle.
  • Creating content for blog posts, newsletters, AIS related media exposure, as well as lead generation campaigns.
  • Coordinating logistics-related processes with the subject equipment provider and housekeeping of the related invoicing processes.
  • Regularly report on AIS network growth and coverage.
  • Build a basic understanding of AIS technology and network infrastructure. Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.

It will be a match if you have or are:

  • Proven experience in Sales, Community Management or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or software company.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer or community member relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • Excellent use of English language in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with online community platforms and social media.
  • Marketing and content creation experience.

  • Experience in the maritime industry or AIS technology.
  • Experience with Atlassian platform and Zendesk.
