Optime are excited to be recruiting Airport Cleaners for a prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. All positions offer full-time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start!
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay:
- Day Shift: £12.00 per hour
- Night Shift: £13.00 per hour
- We have both Day and Night shifts available, please see the timings below:
- Day Shift: 06:00 am to 18:00 pm (12-hour shifts)
- Night Shift: 18:00 pm to 06:00 am (12-hour shifts)
- Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 4 OFF
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Full training
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
Key Duties:
- Cleaning all areas of the terminal (including rest rooms).
- Hoovering, mopping, and dusting high and low-level areas.
- Documenting routine inspections
- Working as part of a team
- Completing tasks in a timely manner
- Using various cleaning equipment in line with training
- Adhering to airport security processes
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team
- Great work ethic
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card
- UK Settled Status (If applicable)
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of (current) Address
- 5 Year Address History
- 5 Year Work Reference History
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
- Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial
