What you will be doing:
- Monitor the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems at the airport, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, lighting, power distribution, Fire detection, Public Announcement System, Airfield lighting System, water supply system, Sewage system, WWTP, etc.
- Perform standard equipment and facility inspections to identify potential issues and safeguard the proper function while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and corporate health and safety directives.
- Identify and diagnose problems of equipment and systems, aiming to implement solutions.
- Coordinate and plan the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks ensuring efficient and effective completion and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including logs of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff (including contractors and vendors) to develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs and schedules. Issue relevant to work permits.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents as needed and take appropriate measures to ensure airport personnel, passengers, and property safety and security.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
Requirements
Do you fulfill the required skills?
- MSc or Diploma (TEI) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, lighting, power distribution, fire detection, and suppression systems, public announcement systems, airfield lighting system, water supply systems, sewage systems, WWTP, etc.
- Previous experience with airfield lighting systems and pavements will be considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to facilities and equipment.
- Fluency in English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable).
