Your mission during this flight:
As an Aircraft Vibration Engineer, you will be involved in the certification process for vibration conditions of aircraft and systems. You will be responsible for the successful definition of appropriate vibrations verification methods and procedures for aircraft equipment and systems compliance demonstration. You will contribute to the aircraft vibration environment signal processing and analysis and lead vibrations requirements definition, validation, and verification activities. You will be part of the aircraft (environmental) qualification team and liaise closely with all system engineers, flight sciences, structures, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Check in your professional skills:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in aviation or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven experience as a vibration engineer in the aerospace industry
- Experience in the validation and verification of complex aircraft systems
- Experience with type certification processes for an aircraft
- Very good knowledge of RTCA DO-160 testing methods and SAE-ARP-4754A, or equivalent industry standards
- Good understanding of all technical aspects related to aircraft systems, aircraft flight physics, and data signal processing for vibrations
- Experience with requirements management tools (such as DOORS or Integrity)
- Proficient with quality management and processes
Bonus skills:
- Background in environmental qualification of airborne equipment and systems in addition to the topic of vibrations
- Background in the study of human-perceived vibrations
- Experience in system architecture, CONOPs and/or modelling based systems engineering
- Knowledge of SAE-ARP-4761A
