Aircraft Captain

As an Aviation Captain, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing aviation operations in accordance with McDonald's standards and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of aviation professionals by exemplifying the company's Vision, Mission, Values, and Operating Principles as guiding principles.
  • Actively supporting and enforcing established organizational structure, protocols, and chain-of-command.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Director, Global Aviation Services to establish personal performance goals aligned with the business plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as company policies, including foreign operations.
  • Conducting pre-flight preparations such as checking weather conditions, AIRMETS, SIGMETS, and other pertinent information.
  • Determining fuel and oxygen requirements for planned routes.
  • Ensuring that the crew has all necessary documentation, including dispatch papers, flight information, Jeppesen revisions, and aircraft documentation.
  • Monitoring aircraft weight and balance parameters throughout all phases of operations.
  • Verifying compliance with flight planning requirements.
  • Ensuring that all crew members possess valid licenses, medical certificates, passports, and visas as required.
  • Conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft, and promptly reporting any defects or deficiencies to maintenance personnel.
  • Enforcing flight and duty time limitations as defined in the General Operations Manual (GOM).
  • Briefing passengers in accordance with company requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws.
  • Completing all post-flight administrative duties, including recording flight times, processing vendor billing, monitoring fuel usage, and documenting aircraft defects.
  • Maintaining aircraft security protocols.
  • Thoroughly briefing assigned crew members on flight details prior to departure.
  • Conducting post-flight debriefings and ensuring completion of post-flight aircraft maintenance status debriefs upon return to home base.
  • Four year college degree preferred
  • Aircraft specific training required 
  • Required FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) required
  • English proficient required
  • Valid automobile drivers license required
  • Valid Passport required 
  • FAA First Class medical certificate required
  • Flight time 5000 hours total time required
  • Flight time 3000 hours multiengine turbine required
