About You

As an AI/ML Full Stack Tech Lead, at AND Digital you’ll act as a hands on, Engineer working across a Club’s portfolio of clients, onsite and in multi-skilled agile delivery teams. As a result, you will need to be able to:

Team and technical leadership:

  • Work with junior, mid-level and senior developers in the field of AI and ML engineering on your team through technical issues.
  • Guide and support the improvement of data skills for the junior to senior developers in your team.
  • Define best practices and standards and ensuring that they are followed during delivery.
  • Work closely with clients to help implement, review or remediate their machine learning strategies.

Influencing technical direction:

  • Understand and build robust and repeatable machine learning architecture, at the enterprise scale
  • Provide insight and conduct research in progressive machine learning technologies if needed
  • Engage actively with other senior AI/Data/ML SMEs, to help define and materialise clients’ needs
  • Collaborate with the technologists of the Consulting team to help establish AND’s wider Data proposition and develop thought leadership
  • Champion and upholding high technical quality standards


To do that, it’s essential you bring the following:

    • High proficiency in writing and testing production-ready Python
    • High proficiency in researching, training, building, evaluating, scaling and improving Machine Learning models.
    • Strong experience working in Azure
    • Solid understanding of vector databases (Azure Cognitive Search, FAISS, Pinecone, etc..)
    • Strong experience working with GenAI tools (ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs, Long Chain, etc…)
    • Strong experience with AI/ML toolkits and libraries. Particularly; PyTorch, Transformers, Gradio, Jupyter Notebook, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn.
    • Good understanding of MLOps best practices.
    • Good understanding of the mathematical foundations of ML algorithms.
    • Experience in building and maintaining RESTFul ML model APIs
    • Able to analyse large datasets through Exploratory Data Analysis and confidently instruct on model and training improvements to improve accuracy
    • Hands-on experience of modern software delivery, including CI/CD and DevOps practices


It’s helpful if you also have:

  • Proficiency in Python and Javascript
  • Proficiency in MLOps and wider DevOps
  • You may be a well established figure in your field; perhaps you are a recognised conference speaker or tech blogger/writer, are an industry expert in the field of data, or have contributed to open source projects or charitable technical projects (like TuringLabs etc.)
  • A keen understanding of industry best-practice around standards, quality and continuous improvement in the field of Data Science (AI/GenAI/ML)
  • Experience in the field of Data Engineering, Science or Analytics
  • Experience of using modern and traditional data technologies including: ElasticSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, mySQL/mariaDB, etc..


Language Proficiency

  • Dutch speaker is strongly preferred
