Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Conversational AI and Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team developing internal conversational AI workflows. As a member of our workplace technology team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that leverage conversational AI and automation to drive efficiency and improve user engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design conversational AI and automation solutions tailored to meet specific needs.
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python and deep learning frameworks.
- Work with out-of-the-box AI conversational platforms and models to enhance the capabilities of our conversational AI systems.
- Design and deploy automation solutions to streamline internal processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Follow best software development practices to ensure code security, quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously iterate on AI and automation models for optimal performance.
- -Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning, and apply them to real-world projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
- Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in developing conversational AI solutions and automation technologies.
- Proficiency in programming stacks such as React, TypeScript, node.js, and knowledge on Python is added advantage
- Familiarity with relational database systems like Postgres or MySQL.
- Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques.
- Experience with popular conversational AI platforms and frameworks like MS Azure Open AI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into layman’s terms for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experiences deploying chatbots or virtual agents using AWS Lex or Microsoft LUIS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
- Experience with chatbot development and deployment.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and version control systems.
