Summary of Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and communicates key drivers of guest satisfaction for the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant
- Analyses service issues and identifies trends for the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant
- Makes and executes the necessary decisions to keep the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant moving forward toward achievement of goals
- Works with the hotel management team to develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant business strategy and leads its execution
- Reviews the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant reports and operations sales performance in accordance with the allocated budget
- Focuses on growing revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department
- Coaches and supports operations the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant team
- Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant goals to produce desired results
- Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs
- Review guest feedback with the Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant team and verify that appropriate corrective action is taken
- Handles and oversees guest issues and complaints to establish engagement that differentiates guest experiences beyond extraordinary, and is highly regarded
- Stays visible and interfaces with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on the quality of product, service levels, and overall satisfaction
- Be responsible for monitoring guest/other department requests with actions in operating departments in timely manner
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the same position in Chinese Restaurant
- Proven track of achieving targets, has strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of the Chinese Restaurant trend that generates revenue to increase profitability
- Strong business acumen and operation strategy, wants to win attitude with excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership skills with an acute sense of good judgment
- Can thrive in a high-pressure environment and has a strong operational strategy that is timely
- Knowledge of food safety principles and best practices, HACCP certification is desirable
- Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken
- Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken with a certified language test (minimum HSK 3)
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, or other relevant fields
