Overview of Opportunity
Two Six Technologies is looking to add a Lead Scrum Master to our team in Arlington, Virginia. This role will be responsible for managing an engineering and development project supporting a capability for our customers. You will also be responsible for leading the coordination of productizing PoCs that are handed off from a team of reverse engineers. This person also elicits, analyzes, validates, and manages the requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This person will work on Scrum master responsibilities and overall act as a liaison between the Project Manager and Principal Investigator to manage the backlog.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Acts as the team lead in implementing an Agile framework, Lean-Agile development, and applying Lean-Agile in leadership
- Elicit the requirements, in the form of user stories, from various sources, such as stakeholders, users, documents, existing systems, or market research. Eliciting requirements involves asking the right questions, listening actively, observing behaviors, and facilitating workshops or interviews.
- Assist in project management by developing project plans and managing tasks
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects or tasks.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings (tech exchanges, status meetings, user sessions, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or experience on an Agile/Scrum team
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and poly
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-10 years of experience including 5 years of specific Scrum Master experience
- 5 years of experience working with agile project and task management tools Jira and/ or Confluence
- Proficient with creating presentations with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and client management
Nice to haves:
- Experience as a developer on an Agile development style team.
- Demonstrated experience in developing applications in C/C++, and Python
- Experience leading a team of junior/mid developers and engineers
- Ability to rapidly find bearings in unfamiliar code bases
- Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating and executing strategic plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and poly
