Job Summary:

As an Agile Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring our Scrum teams to enhance their practices and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software products. You will set up the teams for success, help them self-organize, and enhance the work environment for team members. Working closely with team members, product managers, and leadership you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-centric development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Coaching:
    • Coach and mentor the Scrum teams, including Scrum Masters & Product Managers to enhance their agile practices.
    • Provide guidance on agile ceremonies, artifacts, and roles.
    • Coach teams to have effective retrospectives that result in actionable improvements.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within teams.
  • Training and Workshops:
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
    • Develop and deliver training materials to promote best practices.
  • Organization-wide Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance team performance.
    • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of practices and provide feedback.
    • Facilitate the establishment of agile and lean processes and lightweight frameworks.
  • Change Management:
    • Support teams in navigating organizational changes and adapting to new practices.

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, CTC, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
  • Proven experience in coaching multiple Scrum teams in an agile environment and scaling agile practices.
  • Strong understanding of agile principles, methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and practices.
  • Understanding of modern software engineering practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams towards continuous improvement.
  • A systems thinker who digs to the roots of complex problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
