We are looking for commercially driven, motivated Sales Account Manager to be part of our high-energy, results-oriented Agency Account Management team. The role will be responsible for working within the US region in growing revenue and exceeding targets. This will be achieved through utilizing existing agency contacts, building and executing a strategy for each market within your designated agencies, identifying and closing revenue-driving opportunities with current key partners. In this role, you will work alongside the associated sales representative on the agency account to mutually devise strategy and meet objectives.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders across all the key network agencies and independents within your allocated book of business. The development of strong client relationships is crucial in order to successfully pitch and win data targeting business in a highly competitive landscape.
  • Develop the strategy for your patch of agencies within the US. Identify opportunities to increase revenue for the region, ultimately exceeding targets set in multiple markets.
  • Work closely with agency trading desks, planners and buyers, establishing relationships with key data managers at each.
  • Identify and escalate commercial opportunities with agencies and advertisers, whether this is usage-based or license fees helping to drive incremental and guaranteed revenue for the business.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Audience Specialist teams to ensure client and agency needs are met in a unified and timely manner.
  • Ensure Dun & Bradstreet is perceived as the market leader in audience data.
  • Represent Dun & Bradstreet at various industry and internal client events, and ensure the company is seen as a leader of the space and always top of mind for any data execution.
  • Keep abreast of current events, global privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA), and any industry trends that impact client business.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years Sales/Account Management Audience Data experience.
  • Track record of executing and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the programmatic industry and a level of understanding how data is applied to programmatic campaigns would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate an ability to identify and close commercial opportunities in a traditional way but also the ability to think outside the box and look at new ways of building revenue with current and new partners.
  • Show an ownership mindset in everything you do; be a problem solver, be curious and be inspired to take action, be proactive, seek ways to collaborate and connect with people and teams in support of driving success.
