You will be utilising your skills in GHG emissions measurement, monitoring, reporting and reduction to work within a team of experts on our clients' strategic and operational decision making on all elements of their decarbonization agenda.
You will assist the team to assist clients in improving their understanding of decarbonization-related uncertainties and risks, enabling them to make more confident, strategic decisions and judgements about their decarbonization journey.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Creating business- transcending (adhoc) reports with high-quality analyses and advice;
• provide insights on scopes 1, 2, 3 emissions, science based targets and decarbonisation strategies and roadmaps along with related topics;
• building strong relationships with clients;
• creating business-transcending (ad hoc) reports with high-quality analyses and advice;
• on the job coaching of peers with different skillsets
• 0 - 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting
• Experience in GHG emissions accounting and a sound knowledge of the GHG Protocol, particularly around scope 3 emissions
• Experience in quantification and calculation of data
• Experience in or willingness to learn all about Science Based Targets, PCAF, Net Zero and other GHG emissions target requirements, guidance and standards
• Experience in decarbonisation technology solutions for a diverse range of industries from an operational perspective, to be able to communicate with clients the benefits of certain technologies over others in terms of abatement potential and costs
• Ambitious, independent and able to perform under pressure
• ESG Audit experience is a plus
