The Affiliate Finance and Compliance Specialist supports the US Programs by maintaining a central and standardized process for all new and existing contracts, renewals, and managing payments for all World Relief affiliates. This role will create, manage and document a system for all affiliates in collaboration with all National Service Lines directors and the Finance Department. The role will also be responsible to ensure compliance for finance to process payment and for programs to ensure compliance with agreements. This new role is key to executing our growth goals to expand our footprint across the US.
Role & Responsibilities

- Review subaward agreements for compliance with 2CFR 200 for new and existing affiliates
- Assist with annual contract/ agreement renewals for all World Relief Affiliates
- Perform pre and post-contracting functions in the development, coordination, and administration of the agreements for each federal grant
- Ensures the requirements of law and regulations have been complied with and clearances and approvals have been obtained prior to signing contracts
- Work closely across departments to monitor contractors’ performance and identify and address contractor performance issues
- Writing, editing, updating, and developing deliverables such as Standard Operating Procedures, processes, plans, and guidance documents to create a standard and central affiliate management system
- Working with National Service Lines to map our documentation strategies and schedules for invoicing
- Work alongside Finance Department to ensure the proposed documentation for audits, reporting, and invoicing
- Assist Finance with a review for accuracy for payments and invoicing
- Process payments for all sub-awardees and manage payments from all Immigration Legal Services Members
- Update and manage the databases with all current and active affiliates with their contracts, invoices, and payments
- Develop resources and tools for new affiliates relationships
- Supports Operations Team and program staff as needed with logistics on compliance and Central Affiliate management process as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Relevant experience producing technical and documentation in compliance and contract management
- Proven ability to build relationships with multiple individuals and functions and quickly establish credibility
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as a high degree of creativity, flexibility, and self-direction
- Ability to effectively communicate, actively listen, assess, and problem-solve across a variety of internal and external stakeholder
- Demonstrated Project Management skills
- Ability to successfully work within a remote agile team-based environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to think creatively

- Training and knowledge of 2 CFR 200
- 2 years’ experience in managing contracts and compliance
- Experience with Non-profit Finance and compliance for auditing
- Experience in successfully implementing complex projects
- Bachelor’s degree Up to 25% domestic travel
