As a Senior Associate in the Aero Design team, you will design race car aerodynamic surfaces, wind tunnel model parts, and assemblies. Taking on increased responsibility for project leadership and technical expertise, your role involves contributing to the design process and ensuring the successful execution of development projects.
Integral member of the Aero Design team, contributing to the design of aero surfaces and wind tunnel model components
Reports to the Senior Manager Aerodynamics Design Leader, working closely with the Aero Design team, aerodynamicists, CFD, model makers, production team, Wind Tunnel technician, R&D team, and vehicle engineering team.
This role is factory based but may involve occasional travel.
This role is predominantly carried out during standard working hours but sometimes includes additional hours and weekends.
Principal Accountabilities:
You are familiar with CAD methodologies, workflow, and your development area.
You are familiar with the Formula 1 Regulation for your development area.
You forecast simple projects' lead times.
You will contribute to the design of the race car aerodynamic surfaces, wind tunnel model parts, and assemblies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
You will contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts.
You execute tasks in alignment with established engineering standards.
