The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Advisor will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced manufacturing processes and systems. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Sourcing and Internal Manufacturing, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. The scope with vary from product design review (DfM – Design for manufacturing, DtC – Design to Cost, Should Cost analysis), outsourcing activities (negotiations with suppliers), and internal manufacturing efficiencies improvement.
Experience & Education
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering or commensurate experience.
- 6+ years’ of experience in Technology in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods and/or related supply chain management including design, implementation, and execution of manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
PREFERRED
- MBA or master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Proficient with aPriori, Windchill and Oracle.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience with Oil and Gas downhole tools.
