Tasks will include vehicle software update coordination, setting up instrumentation, perform vehicle drives following corporate test procedures. Provide feedback (pass/ fail) criteria to lead engineer, update test plan and provide test report for the Driver Assistance Team.
Responsibilities
- Driver Assistance Technology Engineering Support.
- Lead for a subset of Driver Assistance Technology features and Attribute testing.
- Ensure common standards and test methods are applied and applicable to vehicle program.
- Support data collection for regional requirements for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Maintain and report out program status report.
- Organise test facilities and recommend validation test methods.
- Follow customer guidelines and practices.
- Automotive experience in a position of accountability.
- Must have: Australian (or equivalent International) driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must have: Diagnostics/ CAN based experience and Automotive Systems knowledge.
- An electrical engineering or technical qualification – Automotive bias preferred.
- Demonstrable understanding of vehicle electrical feature/functions.
- Independent worker, self-starter who can easily learn new tasks.
- Excellent English communication skills and be able to successfully communicate with local and international colleagues.
