Overview
Higher Ground is seeking a dynamic Admissions Officer (Business Development Representative) to join our centralized admissions team. As the key player in connecting families with our campuses, you will guide them through the admissions journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience from inquiry to enrollment. This position provides competitive on-target earnings (OTE), with significant potential for compensation growth based on performance. You will receive a base salary and participate in a commission-based incentive structure tied to your ability to manage a high volume of inbound leads, schedule tours, and convert prospects into enrolled families. Responsibilities

As an Admissions Officer, your core responsibilities will focus on managing inbound leads, pipeline management, and driving enrollment conversions. You will:

  • Lead Management & Engagement: Respond quickly to new inquiries, prioritize leads, and guide families through the admissions process. Manage a portfolio of 20-30 schools, ensuring timely and effective communication to book tours and transition prospects to the school leadership teams.
  • Tour Bookings & Outreach: Drive tour bookings by proactively engaging with families through calls, texts, and emails. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that prospective families have a seamless and positive experience, from initial inquiry to tour and enrollment decision. Post-tour, you will nurture unconverted leads, ensuring no family falls through the cracks by providing personalized follow-ups that encourage enrollment.
  • Nurturing Unconverted Leads: Maintain an active follow-up strategy with leads who have not yet enrolled, providing timely responses and personalized guidance to keep families engaged. Your ability to build trust and maintain connections will be key to converting prospects into enrolled students.
  • Collaborate for Enrollment Excellence: Work closely with Assistant Heads of School and the admissions team to drive enrollment excellence by sharing best practices, tracking progress, and ensuring families receive top-tier service. Your efforts will contribute to building a thriving, profitable school community.
  • Goal-Driven Performance: Your performance will be tracked through daily outreach targets (calls, texts, and emails) and weekly tour booking goals. A split incentive structure will reward you for exceeding these targets, aligning your success with the success of the school community.

Skills & Qualifications

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Passion for Education: Enthusiasm for education and a commitment to working with educators, parents, and children to create meaningful experiences.
  • Sales & Business Development Experience: A strong track record in sales, business development, or related fields, with a proven ability to meet and exceed performance metrics.
  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, with an understanding of how to manage sales pipelines and optimize lead conversions.
  • Goal-Driven Mindset: A proactive, goal-oriented approach with a passion for meeting and surpassing performance metrics.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently, manage your schedule, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Communication & Rapport Building: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and influence decision-making with prospective families.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data (especially using Salesforce, Excel, or PowerBI) to make informed decisions that improve admissions outcomes.
