The Network Security Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks. To manage internet, manufacturing, cross intranet firewalls, VPNs, network authentication and etc., monitor network traffic for unusual and work with infosec team for incident response, risk management and compliance to secure network environment . He/she will also be semi-backup on network administration as backup for general coverage. implementing, managing, and maintaining network security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure. This role focuses on managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security technologies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the network.
Key Responsibilities:

Network Security Management: Oversee the security of internet and intranet connections, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data transmission.

Firewall Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls to protect against unauthorized access and potential threats.

VPN Management: Implement and manage Virtual Private Networks to allow secure remote access to company resources.

Network Authentication: Design and enforce network authentication protocols to control access to network resources.

Traffic Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic for signs of intrusion or anomalies that could indicate a security breach.

Incident Response: Collaborate with the Information Security team to respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing remediation strategies.

Risk Management: Participate in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks within the network infrastructure.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure that network security practices align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Policy Development: Contribute to the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and Information Security team members to share knowledge and improve overall security posture.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest network security trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the company's security measures.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and authentication systems.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
