World Relief seeks an Administrative Support Associate. This position will be a part of the Initial Resettlement Team that provides services to newly arrived refugees. This role’s primary responsibility covers administrative tasks and home visits for clients enrolled in the Matching Grant program. This role reports to the Initial Resettlement Manager and Workforce Development Director.
This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until December 20, 2024 and contingent upon funding extension.
Role & Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks
- Enrolling clients in to the Matching Grant (MG) program in to the organization’s secure database.
- Creating and copying case notes in database
- Copying, scanning and uploading client documents to database
- Requesting financial support such as rental, cash, or utility assistance
- Developing paperwork for client tasks such as budgets and enrollment forms
- Updating internal tracking systems for program to track enrollment and self sufficiency status
- Reviewing client files and notes to ensure accuracy as well as grant compliance
- Other duties as assigned by the Initial Resettlement Manager or Workforce Development Director
Client Services
- Transporting clients to cash or deposit cash assistance checks
- Delivering documents and other paperwork to clients
- Scheduling 180 and 240 day home visits as well as securing interpretation
- Completing home visits at 180 and 240 days post enrollment to determine self sufficiency
- Develop budgets with clients and collect paystub copies at day 180, day 240, and after an significant income changes
- Contact clients to request utility bill copies
- Other case management services as needed to support client self sufficiency

- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- 1 year of driving experience in the US
- Good driving record
- Access to own transportation to commute to work sites in DuPage and Aurora areas
- Willingness to drive clients to appointments if needed
