Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant, Talent Payments is a key administrative position with general office duties that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, an aptitude for numbers, multi-tasking, and excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the initial process by which the performer contracts and commercial reporting is prepared and coded for payment; additional supportive functions, including but not limited to cross-referencing performer and information, confirming GST/HST documentation and the acting union(s) membership (i.e., ACTRA, Union des Artistes (UDA), AFM/CFM, SAG/AFTRA). The Administrative Assistant works closely with fellow team members and Account Managers and works with a specific roster of clients.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter with initiative and a proactive approach to responsibilities and working with clients and colleagues. Extreme attention to detail and accuracy are required for success in this role.
