Addendum to Request for Proposal: India Prequalification Exercise 2024

Girl Effect hereby amends the Request for Proposals for Content and Design agencies and individuals in India in accordance with this Addendum, which hereby forms part of the RFP and Provides for changes to the RFP. 

What are the application timelines for this? 

We updated the submission deadline to the 22nd of April 2024 

What is the context of the project? 

The project aims to support the Government of India’s National rollout of the HPV vaccine by leveraging digital programming expertise to combat misinformation and increase awareness and acceptance of the vaccine, particularly among parents and adolescent girls. 

Who is the primary target audience for the project? 

The primary audience for the National rollout is parents of adolescent girls aged 9-14 years. Additionally, the project seeks to build awareness and acceptance among girls themselves. 

What are the main components of the project's product mix? 

The product mix includes: 

- A social media awareness campaign targeted at parents. 

- An app designed for offline use, intended to support teachers, partners, and healthcare workers in disseminating relevant content and engaging with 9-14 year old girls. - A new WhatsApp chatbot that parents can engage with to address any questions or concerns they may have about the vaccine.

How will creative and design agencies/individuals contribute to the project?

Creative and design agencies/individuals will play a crucial role in designing and developing engaging content based on specific briefs from Girl Effect as per the development of the project's strategy. This may include graphic design, user interface design, animation, and content creation.

What are the key objectives of the project?

The main objectives are to combat misinformation surrounding the HPV vaccine, increase awareness among parents and adolescent girls, and ultimately increase the uptake of the vaccine.

Are there specific design guidelines or requirements for the project? 

While specific guidelines may vary, the design should be user-friendly, culturally sensitive, and visually appealing to the target audience. It should also prioritize clear communication of important information about the HPV vaccine.

How will the success of the project be measured? 

Success will be measured through indicators such as increased awareness and acceptance of the HPV vaccine among parents and girls, engagement with the social media campaign and app, and ultimately, an increase in vaccine uptake rates.

Is there ongoing support or collaboration available throughout the project?

Yes, Girl Effect will be involved and provide support and collaboration opportunities throughout the project duration to ensure the effective execution of creative and design elements.

Are there any specific timelines or deadlines for deliverables? 

Timelines and deadlines will be communicated upon agreement after each brief and may vary depending on the specific requirements of each component of the project.
