ADAS Algorithm and Systems Engineer

  • Develop and optimize algorithms for ADAS functionalities such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and traffic sign recognition.
  • Design and implement software components for real-time ADAS applications, ensuring robust performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate ADAS software with sensor systems (radar, lidar, cameras) and vehicle controllers.
  • Conduct simulation and testing of ADAS features using software tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups to validate performance under various conditions.
  • Analyze and interpret data collected from field tests and simulations to improve algorithm performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ADAS technology to incorporate the latest innovations into our systems.
  • Document designs, specifications, and test results to maintain clear records and support regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and document electronics and/or electrical solutions including HW & SW. Develop functional & non-functional requirements in the area of ADAS & Passive safety.
  • Bachelors of Engineering in HW/Electronics or related field
  • Min. 5 - 8 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of sensor technologies (radar, lidar, cameras) and their application in ADAS systems. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and software development processes (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).Experience with model-based design tools for algorithm development and simulation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Interact with the internal development teams overseas & external supplier. Secure cross-functional and business anchoring.
