Position Title: ADAP Eligibility Program Manager
Location: Onsite, Arizona
Position End Date: 12/31/24
Salary: $80,000 plus benefits


Overview:

CDC Foundation is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of ADAP Eligibility Program Manager within the Office of HIV & Hepatitis C Services at the Arizona Department of Health Services. This position works as part of a team, who coordinates and monitors HIV services statewide, and provides support to the Ryan White Part B / ADAP Program.


Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years relevant experience; Master's degree in a related field (preferred) and two years relevant experience. 
•Experience conducting telephonic and email communications, data collection and entry.  
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, emotional intelligence.  
•Ability to interact in a non-judgmental manner with culturally diverse populations and persons experiencing a wide range of social conditions.  
•Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to use sound judgment in responding to client issues and concerns.  
•Experience with health education, community outreach, linkage to care, social services. 
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Maintain and have a valid driver's license and insurance.


Responsibilities:

•Provide statewide administration, management, and monitoring of the Ryan White Part B / AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
•Provide leadership and collaborate with AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Leads and team members to develop and facilitate training to ADAP approved agencies
•Develop, revise, implement and monitor ADAP policies and procedures
•Design strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of ADAP application review, enrollment procedures, and HIPAA compliance
•Conduct and participate in ADAP site reviews at select sites based on issues and problems with ADAP applications and recertifications
•Communicate the importance of compliance with HIPAA guidelines to staff as it relates to ADAP and HICP applications and recertifications
•Assist with grant reporting and other ADAP program documentation and evaluation efforts

This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and Arizona Department of Health Services, in order to best support the State of Arizona in their public health programming.   
   
This position is hybrid in Arizona. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.     

This position requires the regular operation of a motor vehicle during the course and scope of employment as an essential function of the job.  As such, Employees in this position must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence, must self-report motor vehicle violations/convictions, and must provide proof of acceptable insurance coverage with mandatory minimum coverages as set forth within the Driver Safety Motor Vehicle Policy (“Policy”).  All offers of employment and continued employment for this position are contingent
