ROLE PURPOSE
A critical role exists within the Global Performance Team for an Ad Tech Director. This individual will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge Ad Tech strategies, ensuring seamless integration and utilization of platforms like Google Ads, DV360, CM360, SA360, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business Suite, Amazon Advertising, Google Cloud, and Google Analytics 4 to maximize performance marketing ROI. Crucially, this role is accountable for deploying these standards into local markets, tracking adoption, and providing support to overcome implementation challenges. This role reports directly to the Global Performance Lead.
OPENMIND OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Ad Tech Director will collaborate closely with the Global Performance Lead, regional performance teams, media partners, the Governance & Market Coordination Director, Performance Solutions team, and Performance Channel Leads. This role requires a deep understanding of the Ad Tech landscape, data management, performance marketing principles, change management, and global market dynamics. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional analytical and technical skills, and a passion for driving innovation and efficiency across a complex global organization.
OPENMIND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance
- Lead the development and implementation of global Ad Tech strategies.
- Oversee the integration and utilization of all relevant Ad Tech platforms.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for performance monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborate with media partners to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
- Identify and evaluate new Ad Tech solutions and opportunities.
- Monitor performance across all markets and identify opportunities for optimization leveraging Ad Tech solutions.
- Deploy global Ad Tech standards into local markets, providing training and support.
- Track adoption of Ad Tech standards across markets and identify any roadblocks.

Develop and maintain a troubleshooting system to address implementation challenges and ensure smooth adoption.

- Design and implement efficient Ad Tech operational processes in collaboration with the Performance Solutions and Performance Channel Leads.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Ad Tech processes and best practices.
- Create and manage a process for escalating and resolving Ad Tech implementation issues in local markets.
Product

Collaborate with the Performance Solutions team to ensure alignment between product development and market needs related to Ad Tech.
Profitability
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs through optimized Ad Tech strategies and automation.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in Ad Tech platform management across GMP (Google Ads, DV360,
- CM360, SA360).
- Expertise in data management, including data integration, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with tag management systems and data layers.
- Ability to design and implement Ad Tech solutions and workflows.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting, with a focus on performance marketing KPIs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for driving innovation and efficiency within the Ad Tech space.
- Experience with change management principles and driving adoption of new technologies.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Preferably, proficiency in Google Analytics 4, including implementation, configuration, and reporting.
- Preferably, experience across other platforms like Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business Suite, Amazon DSP & Advertising, TikTok.
