1. Role Overview
Job Title: Ad Operations Manager
Department/Team: Media / Ad Operations
Purpose: As the Ad Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily tasks for the team responsible for inserting adverts on commercial ad breaks across all DAZN live events, act as a key liaison between local teams and the Hyderabad Digital Hub, serve as the primary point of contact with Ad Tech team, and take responsibility for ad-related projects. You will ensure seamless communication with the local delivery team and maintain high-quality standards across all operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
Tasks:
Lead and manage the ad operations team to ensure timely and high-quality execution of tasks.
Support the team in setting up campaigns and running pre-event checks ahead of key events.
Serve as the main point of contact for technical troubleshooting and development support related to advertisements.
Oversee and streamline workflows to optimise efficiency across multiple teams.
Track, analyse, and report performance of campaigns to ensure key metrics and business goals are achieved.
Coordinate with local delivery teams to manage and align ad break schedules and other advertising requirements.
Drive the implementation of ad-related projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Team Size: 7 direct reports.
Deliverables: Managing team workflows effectively, ensuring the team’s tasks are executed with excellence, and achieving consistent alignment between In-Market Ad Ops Teams and the Ad Ops Hub.
3. Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in digital advertisement or TV broadcast.
At least 4 years of experience in managing a team.
Strong project management experience
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Google Ad Manager or similar Ad Server technology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Familiarity in working with Pivot Tables in Excel.
Basic understanding of HTML or JavaScript.
Soft Skills:
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
Strong decision-making and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Proven ability to manage, coach, and motivate a team.
Exceptional investigative and problem-solving skills.

Key Tools or Resources: Proficiency in Google Ad Manager is a must, along with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
