The Role
The Acquiring Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and optimizing acquiring strategies and processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business, Sales, Finance, and IT, to identify opportunities, enhance customer acquisition, and maximize revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of acquiring industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and executing long-term business strategies based on the organization’s vision, mission, values and objectives;
  • Communicating strategic project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including upper management;
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements;
  • Ensure services meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget;
  • Develop and uphold service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service quality;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal & external clients, managing service-related issues and inquiries;
  • Work with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any interdepartmental issues;
  • Implement best practices and innovations to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Allocate and manage personnel, tools, and technology to ensure optimal service delivery.

Requirements

To be considered you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred;
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in service delivery, project management, functional analysis or a related field preferably in Acquiring;
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, Agile Methodologies, etc. not required but advantageous;
  • Experience in the financial services or payments industry is required;
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of project management and service delivery methodologies;
  • Proficient in using service management software and tools;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality services;
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
