Role Summary
The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee a team of A/R Specialists, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and billing reconciliation. This role combines leadership with hands-on A/R responsibilities, supporting the monthly close process, supporting customers and internal departments, and instilling process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
What You’ll do

Lead an A/R Team: Supervise, mentor, and train a team of A/R specialists to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing.

A/R Operations: Oversee invoicing, billing reconciliations, and partner billing files; ensure accuracy in customer accounts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer success/support, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and ensure system accuracy.

Month-End Support: Assist in A/R reconciliations and month-end close processes.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase AR efficiency and accuracy.

Ad Hoc Projects and Reporting: Provide financial and operational analysis to assist other departments and team members
What we need:

Experience: 3+ years in Accounts Receivable or accounting, with 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills; experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and process efficiency.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
