We are seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team for this hybrid opportunity out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist position supports the monthly close and invoicing process by managing cash influx and collecting payment from customers. This role has both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on business, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Validation of invoices from Salesforce and sending to customers ensuring that all invoices are accurate. This includes invoices submitted to customers via portal.
- Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Maintain customer records to ensure contact information and tax exemption information is up to date.
- Backup to the AR Manager for daily cash management duties, including the recording of customer bank deposits and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
- Sending statements to customers as needed.
- Manage the credit review process for required customers using D&B.
- Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts.
- Assist finance department in annual audit preparation.
- Perform additional financial analyses and projects, as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 3-5 years professional experience.
- Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- NetSuite ERP and Salesforce billing experience strongly preferred.
- D&B credit check experience
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting at all levels in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and eagerness to work as member of a team.
This position offers a total compensation range of $66,800.00 to $73,800.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
