Accounts Receivable Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager you'll support Accounts Receivable Order-To-Cash O2C finance team for managing Jellyfish's incoming transactions, and create our relationships with customers.

You will be aligned within our Accounts Receivable Order-To-Cash O2C finance team, and your primary focus as the Accounts Receivable Executive (O2C) is to perform credit checks, manage client master data management in SAGE X3, and support monitoring of current/new client risk profile. You will also support with Billing, collections and disputes, cash and bank and deal with queries within the managed mailboxes and ServiceNow tickets.

You will support the Account Receivable (O2C) team with month end close reporting, Measurements monitoring and reporting. You will also support the team to maximize cash flows by reducing DSO days.

You have experience establishing communication and engagement with clients, used to working with deadlines and a basic level of accounting understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Perform client credit checks using platforms such as Credit Safe, Dun & Bradstreet or latest Management accounts and public records.
• Support with periodic reviews of client credit limits and monitor performance.
• Support the customer account creation in SAGE X3 and the master data management process.
• Create billing invoices for assigned region/entities.
• For assigned region/entities you will perform collections and disputes tasks, chase debt and report on cash flow (inflows).
• For assigned region/entities you will also manage cash and bank tasks by creating in SAGE X3 payments and receipts then performing cash applications. Also complete daily banking responsibilities.
• Knowledge about all the requirements of CFDI 4.0 and payments complements.
• You will work with the AR Manager (O2C) and the wider AR team to ensure that the business delivers agreed Measurements.
• Provide response to issues reported by clients, escalation of problems to appropriate departments and monitoring of resolution.
• Manage AR email Inbox or ServiceNow tickets and deal with customer/internal queries.
• Support the monitoring and ensure dunning letters are issued to clients.
• Support with Reconciling Customer statements / accounts and preparing AR provisions.
• Help with any ad-hoc reporting/analysis AR reporting, month end close or balance sheet reconciliations.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field
• +3 years working in a similar position.
• Proficiency English.
• Experience in the area of accounting/bookkeeping and all tax obligations from the point of view of AR (preferable).
• Experience in Google Sheets (preferable).
• Experienced in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in order to cash, accounts receivable, billing, credit control and dispute resolution management is a bonus.
• You will support the team's workload by managing your deliverables and helping the team.
• Experienced in business solutions and bookkeeping software.
• Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to follow all company policies and current financial legislation, with a focus on accuracy.
