Accounts Payable Specialist

We are now looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting Team in Helsinki. The team currently consists of eight professionals and is mainly responsible for parent company accounting, accounts payable, expense notes and intercompany transactions. Accounting Team is part of Group Financial Control & Operations team.

This is a new role to strengthen our Team as the company is growing.

What you’ll be doing:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in ensuring our day-to-day finance operations are running smoothly. The key responsibilities are:

• Processing of supplier invoices and setting up the correct accounts and reporting dimensions
• Ensuring correct tax and VAT treatment of supplier invoices
• Handling AP related queries
• Overseeing the invoice approval workflow
• Creating payments
• Supporting in AP related projects
• Assisting with other accounting or finance related tasks

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Relevant studies in e.g. accounting, finance, business
• 3-5 years of experience of working with Accounts Payables preferably in international environment
• Understanding of accounting and VAT rules
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a timely and precise manner
• Independent and proactive work-attitude
• Good office IT skills
