This position will provide Accounts Payable support to the company communities and vendors and will respond to inquiries professionally and timely, and will be expected to be able resolve issues and address questions independently and escalate to appropriate team members if can not bring successful resolution on own.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, ability to review and process large volume of invoices with accuracy and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate embraces technology, is willing to adapt and learn, and is able to recognize and solve problems independently.
Work Duties
Works with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to support all functions of AP department for timely review and processing of vendor invoices.
Professionally, effectively and expeditiously responds to vendor inquiries, questions or disputes which includes hand-off to appropriate persons if cannot bring successful resolution on own.
Reconciles vendor statements and researches invoice discrepancies.
Professionally, effectively and expeditiously responds to inquiries from the company community team members.
Reviews, evaluates and resolves a wide variety of complex and unique problems related to invoice processing.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Attends in-service training workshops and meetings as required
Performs other related functions and special assignments as required.
Requirements
Education – High school diploma or equivalent and some college courses in business administration, or related field.
Experience/Training –
Minimum 2 years of applicable experience; or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
Prior experience performing full cycle Accounts Payable duties is highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience with Teams and other video conferencing tools
