WHAT IS THE POSITION
To ensure accurate and timely workflow of accounts payable processes with adherence to company policies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Manage projects cross functionally with leadership, focused around process improvement and automation of accounts payable and purchasing functions.
• Manage company’s Accounts Payable process
• Maintain vendor records in NetSuite ensuring all required documentation is obtained
• Entry of invoices into NetSuite
• Determine proper general ledger coding and approval requirements from department leads for invoices
• Process weekly payment runs to vendors
• Maintain invoice filing system and electronic imaging
• Manage AP close process including accrual audit and upload
• Work with vendors and internal team to improve systems and resolve discrepancies
• Annual 1099 preparation and filing
WHAT IS REQUIRED
• Associate degree in accounting or business preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years of AP experience
• NetSuite experience required
• Expense reimbursement experience preferred
• Organization, prioritization and time management skills
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills
• Ability to think independently and makes day-to-day decisions for AP department
• Effectively communicate processes and controls throughout the organization
• Collaboration and team work
• Self-motivator with strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem solver with follow-up skills
