Los Angeles based Internet Brands is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager. This position will report to the Controller and have broad exposure working on many different tasks for a dynamic and growing Company.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the month-end closing process.
- Uses popular accounts payable software.
- Supervises a team to record all accounts payable transactions.
- Investigates accounts payable issues as needed.
- Builds relationships with vendors and other departments.
- Manages and trains accounts payable staff.
- Hires and onboards new accounts payable staff.
- Ensures payments are made accurately and on time.
- Creates accounts payable processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- 4 - 5 years of accounting experience preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of management experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (GP) a plus.
- Experience with T&E processing and reporting preferred.
- Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Self-starter and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
