Accounts Payable Assistant

The Accounts Payable Assistant plays a key role in Kaizen Gaming, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers and vendors. This position supports the Accounts Payable (AP) team and involves several essential duties such as processing invoices accurately, facilitating timely payments, and reconciling accounts.

As a Accounts Payable Assistant, you will:

• Prepare and process weekly payment runs and verifying necessary approvals and ensuring successful execution.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status, discrepancies, and resolve any invoicing issues in a timely manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions, maintain accurate records, and identify discrepancies.
• Organize, file, and maintain AP records and supporting documents for auditing and future reference.
• Support the accounting team in month-end close procedures, including generating reports and reconciling accounts.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, accounting, treasury) to ensure proper flow of information and alignment on payment policies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations; assist with internal and external audits related to accounts payable.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support role preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and practical experience with computerized accounting/financial systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek language.
