Accounting Specialist

Position Overview: As a Accounting Specialist at City Wide Facility Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. You will collaborate closely with various teams to gather necessary information, analyze billing data, and generate invoices. Additionally, you will address billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain detailed records to support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and process accurate invoices in a timely manner
• Review billing data for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for billing
• Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Following up with customers on account collections, with the goal of establishing payment terms while preserving client relations
• Maintain organized records of billing transactions and client interactions
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Proven experience in billing or accounts receivable role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing/accounting software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
