The CCG Global Accounting and Reporting Manager leads a team responsible for McDonald’s global accounting consolidation processes, prepares critical financial analysis to help senior finance management drive business decisions, is involved in technical accounting matters, and works directly with the market finance teams around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-Manage a team of approximately 10 accounting and finance professionals
  • Guide the team to efficiently manage the consolidation processes through partnering directly with the market finance teams
  • Ensure the team provides critical analysis related to key financial statements and metrics such as the Company’s operating margins, balance sheet and cash flows
  • Partner with the Finance Transformation team to identify and implement opportunities to increase reporting efficiencies
  • Provide fiduciary leadership and promote strong internal control compliance
  • Assist with various ad-hoc requests, special projects and technical accounting research for finance management and market finance teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in the accounting industry and/or in financial services, big 4 public experience preferred
  • Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills
  • Results-driven, self-starting individual
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, as well as project manage longer-term projects
  • Strategic problem solver and critical thinker
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage both upward and downward and quickly build positive rapport/influence
  • Ability to concisely and effectively communicate, particularly with Executive stakeholders
  • Initiative and creativity in finding efficiencies
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasks
