We are currently recruiting a Project Analyst for the Global Business Support Team at Informa. In this role you will be working alongside the Americas Tax Director, US Corporate Tax Team and across the business. As a Project Analyst your role is to manage tax projects within Informa Global Support. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered with measurable business outcomes including efficiency and direct cost savings, increased quality, and customer value and/or increased quality and customer value.

You will build good relationships with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements, effective change management and clear communication. You will track and report on project impacts.

Key Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

As a Project Analyst you will ensure the delivery of the following key objectives:

  • Create and maintain project documentation such as plans for tax projects that define roles & responsibilities, milestones, preliminary deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders including Tax, Record to Report and Technology teams.
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders informed on project progress. Organize and attend stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure alignment of the project milestones with departmental resource
  • Identify and work with the Americas Tax Director to raise blockers and ensure projects can progress.
  • Assist colleagues on the appropriate use of lean tools.
  • Ensure continuous measurement of key KPIs in each area.
  • Conduct post-delivery feedback sessions to identify lessons learned and share to ensure continuous improvement of project practice.
  • Understand voice of customer to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and deliver standardization, best practices, methods, and procedure documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuing evolution and refinement of business/operational processes to optimize quality, timeliness, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of process execution and delivery.

Essential:

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills, including creating and maintaining plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build relationships, present effectively, and maintain clear communication.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills, with experience tracking and reporting on project impacts and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Exposure and/or experience using Lean tools and methodologies, including DMAIC and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Internal experience working with tax projects.
  • Understanding of voice of customer principles and translating them into project outcomes.
  • Experience creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Green belt in Lean Six Sigma
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Excel

The pay range for this position is $60k-$75k / year depending on experience.
