POSITION OVERVIEW
Computes, calculates, and posts statistical, numerical, and financial data. AP Position
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (In order of importance)
1 Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial area.
2 May develop queries; generates and distributes reports
3 Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
4 Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
POSITION LEVEL:
LEVEL 1 0-2 years of experience. Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the position or specialization. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems, and prefers accounting experience.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School/GED
REQUIRED ABILITIES AND/OR SKILLS
Computer skills - must have experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
Ten-key by touch
Good communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office Environment
Standard 40 hours - may require occasional overtime.
Travel 0-10% of the time
Hours are from 3pm to 1130pm.
