The Basics:

As an Accounting Intern at Tanium, you will gain hands-on experience by getting exposed to multiple areas within our accounting function.

What you'll do:

  • Participate in internal audit walkthroughs for various business processes
  • Assist with documenting business processes
  • Obtain experience with accounts payable responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed flux analysis explanations
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects
  • Assist with gathering support for the external auditors

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
  • Available to work full-time from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Set to graduate Fall of 2025 or Spring 2026
  • Maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Keen interest in learning
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills

What you'll get:

The hourly rate for this internship is $27 USD per hour. This hourly rate is an estimate for what Tanium will pay an intern. The actual rate offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an hourly rate, interns will be eligible for 401k matching and a monthly allowance for communications reimbursement.
