The role is to support daily and monthly task for Finance department in Singapore
What you'll be doing
- Handle day-to-day business cases in the area of account receivables, account payable, bank posting and booking of invoices in accordance with the directives;
- Prepare cash book and book incoming receipts & outgoing payments in our accounting system;
- Check and ensure accuracy of our out-going invoices issued;
- Perform reconciliation and arrange payment for payable for local vendor and handling account queries, if any;
- Monitoring GST and COD collection, sending monthly SOA to all customers & agents;
- Prepare and update weekly AR ageing reports;
- Clarify query invoices with client accounting and our operations department;
- Generate monthly report for account receivables and payable by deadline given;
- To support Finance Manager for month-end closing process and year-end auditing;
- To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.
About you
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent;
- Plan, organize and coordinate daily and future activities;
- Attention to details and thorough;
- Self-driven, good attitude, integrity and resourceful;
- Good problem solving and ability to anticipate coming situations;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Able to work in diverse culture environment;
- Able to work across geographical and functional boundaries;
- Strive well under stress;
- Proficient in MS office (excel, PowerPoint, words, etc.).
