As an intern here, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting working closely with our team of professionals. You will be expected to assist with day-to-day operations, contribute to ongoing projects, and participate in various tasks that supports the departments goals. Additionally, Interns will participate in weekly speaker series featuring prominent leaders across the organization. This internship will provide you valuable exposure to your field of study, offering you a chance to develop skills, network with professionals, and apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting. The ideal candidate should be completing their undergraduate degree and have at least 0-1 years of experience in a professional environment. This job is for you if you:    Are currently seeking an accounting degree, mid-Junior or Senior year status and enjoy working with numbers, equations, and reconciliation of data. Candidate should be comfortable working in Microsoft Excel with mid to advance knowledge using functions such as vlookup, conditional formats, linked workbooks and pivot tables. Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of debit/credit classification of accounts and what it means to reconcile an account will be the basis for this work assignment. Responsibilties
  • Perform General Ledger account reconciliations, identify outstanding transaction items and provide resolution assistance
  • Maintain and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoice transaction status logs by tracking and initiating incoming and outgoing communication
  • Assist with other system-based reconciliations

  • Ability to work a hybrid/onsite work schedule
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited institution’s associate’s or bachelor’s program
  • Available 40 hours a week/full-time
  • Located nearby our corporate office: Huntsville, AL
