Requirements
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
A. FIXED ASSET
1. Encoding all FA and EFR request
2. FA capitalized and non-capitalized sticker tagging
3. Monthly Conversion of Fixed asset (EFR)
4. Monthly Generation of FA Depreciation
5. Reconcile General Ledger (GL) and Subsidiary Ledger (SL)
6. Recording and Documentation of FA Disposal
7. Journalize adjustments and reclassification
B. INVENTORY
1. Conduct month end Inventory Count
2. Reconcile Inventory as a result of Physical Count versus BC
The variances, if any, shall be coordinated to the concerned persons
3. Collaborate with Branches to reconcile adjustments needed to correct inventory discrepancies
4. Journalize adjustments and reclassification
5. Validates variance explanations submitted by Branches
6. Plan and execute periodic warehouse audits to validate inventory accuracy and compliance with established procedures
7. Document audit findings and discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions
8. Assist year-end audit requirements and compliances
9. Prepare Inventory reports required by the management
10. Timely Accomplishment in Month-End and Year-End Closing Processes.
11. Collaborate with other accounting team members on various tasks as necessary
12. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management and warehouse procedures
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency enhancements
14. Provide recommendations for optimizing inventory control and warehouse management processes
15. Assist in other tasks as delegated
Do you have what it takes? If you want to be considered for this role you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• With relevant experience in Accounting and Inventory Management
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet Microsoft Office applications and any Accounting Software
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities
