THE ROLE
New Guards Group Holding is seeking an Accounting Coordinator for our accounting department. This role will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all income statement registrations
- Manage and coordinate the entire monthly closure process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Direct and supervise the accounting reconciliations process
- Oversee and ensure compliance with VAT settlement procedures and reporting requirements
- Oversee asset management, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting
- Handle and ensure accuracy in intercompany reconciliations
- Supervise SOX control implementation and compliance for Internal Audit purposes
- Oversee VAT liquidations and declarations
- Maintain relationship with auditors
- Manage statutory FS process
- Coordinate the management and allocation of revenues
WHO YOU ARE
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on GL and VAT, ideally within an audit and advisory consultancy firm
- Proven experience in a senior managerial role with a focus on GL and VAT
- Highly detail-oriented, punctual, and adaptable, with a strong ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Excellent proficiency in English and advanced Excel skills
