Accounting Associate II

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

As an Accounting Associate you will:

  • Perform validations of batched financial data against control reports for monthly close cycle that includes both income statement and balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare, process, and validate recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries
  • Perform account balance reconciliations 
  • Prepare invoice payments requiring SAP code block mapping
  • Coordinate responding to external and internal audit inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with state compliance by filing submissions to states and specific state organizations and/or support this function.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including documenting procedures, approvals, etc.
  • Help with project implementation for high performance expectations, business changes, contractual obligations, etc.
